Lawrence

Lawrence/Northeast Indianapolis VA Clinic ~45,000 sq. ft.

Having worked with this client previously, we are honored to be back in Indiana to support the Lawrence/Northeast Indianapolis clinic VA activation team to open their new facility in early 2028. Our team will provide full support to include Project Management; Interior Design, FF&E, and Space Planning; CONOPS and Transitioning Planning; Acquisition Planning and Package Development; Warehousing; Activation; Relocation; Training; Post Occupancy Support.

VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics, White City, OR ~192,000 sq. ft.

For this effort, we are supporting the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (SORCC), VA Office of Construction and Facilities Management, and the Army Corps of Engineers with the activation pre-planning efforts on two new buildings with seismic concerns on the SORCC campus in White City, OR.  The objective is to provide activation pre-planning support services to review and validate space planning via design charrettes. We will review, identify, reconcile, recommend, and validate a final list of medical and non-medical equipment, furniture, and fixtures specified for the two buildings prior to the issuance of the Design Build (DB) RFP.

North Texas VA Health Care System Dallas VA Medical Center - Long Term Spinal Cord Injury, Warehouse, and Linen Holding Area >250,000 sq. ft.

The 30-bed Long Term SCI facility will be operationally and physically integrated with the existing acute SCI center at the Dallas campus. The new two-story warehouse will have office space on the entire second floor. And Building 2 will be renovated for a new linen holding area. The three projects will be completed in the years 2025 through 2027. 

Lousiville VA Robley Rex MC

New Robley Rex VA Medical Center >900,000 sq. ft.

Taking on our largest project to date, this new 104-bed, full-service hospital located in Louisville, Kentucky, will provide world-class healthcare for more than 45,000 Veterans in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The campus is being designed to keep patient-centered care and whole-health concepts in mind to provide a comfortable, safe, and healing environment for our Veterans.  To specifically address the needs of women Veterans, the new hospital will include a Women’s Health Clinic with four Patient Aligned Care Teams. The new medical center is targeted to open in the summer of 2026.

BayPines

Bay Pines Building 1 Renovation 94,000 sq. ft.

This project supports a major renovation of Building 1, a five-story structure constructed in 1933 as the main hospital on the Veterans Administration Bay Pines Medical Campus. The renovation provides additional space for a Primary Care Outpatient facility as well as administrative offices. This project relocates the current non-PACT Primary Care from Building 100 and to a PACT Compliant clinic setting on floors 2-5. We are honored and excited to support the future design and layout of this is a beautiful historical building located in beautiful, coastal Florida.

Toms River CBOC 68,000 sq. ft.

The new Toms River clinic replaced the existing, undersized Brick CBOC with expansion to provide some basic specialty care services to include Primary Care, Women's Primary Care, Radiology, Dental, Eye Clinic, Audiology, Pharmacy, Mental Health, and Telehealth. Women’s Health has its own entrance. There’s also an entrance for ambulance pick-up. A road around the outskirts of the property could one day link to the social services buildings nearby. Toms River delivers enhanced healthcare services to Veterans across Ocean County and the surrounding areas, welcoming local veterans and ensuring they receive the highest level of care in this expanded, modern facility. The clinic opened in October 2024.  

AKAKA

Daniel Kahikina AKAKA VA CBOC 88,675 sq. ft.

This 88,675 square-foot multi-specialty outpatient clinic, housed on 9.5 acres in West Oahu, doubles the VA health system’s capacity. It is located at 91-1051 Franklin D. Roosevelt Ave. in Kapolei. The $130M facility was designed for more than 87K veterans receiving primary and mental health care on Oahu. It is outfitted with pharmacy, X-ray, laboratory, and diagnostic services, among other offerings. The clinic was named to honor the late Sen. Daniel K. Akaka, who introduced the project and was also a veteran and advocate for veteran’s issues. This facility is now an excellent resource for the VA’s Pacific Island Healthcare System and gives veterans another option in West Oahu. It opened its doors in April 2024.

StocktonCBOC

VA Northern California Health Care System Stockton CBOC 158,000 sq. ft.

The new 158,000 square-foot Richard A. Pittman VA Clinic opened in April 2024 and is located at 6505 S. Manthey Rd. in French Camp. The $505M outpatient medical center is in the Central Valley providing services for veterans living in San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Calaveras, and Tuolumne counties. It offers primary care and specialty health services, including addiction and substance abuse treatment, mental health care, post-traumatic stress disorder, smoking and tobacco cessation, and physical and occupational therapy. It has the capacity to serve nearly 210K veterans in the region.

Gainesville-PC (1)

Gainesville Primary Care VA Clinic 84,400 sq. ft.

The Gainesville Primary Care Clinic is an 84,400 sq. ft. new construction lease located right off of Highway 75 on the corner of Williston and SW 34th Street in Gainesville, FL. This clinic expanded the VA outpatient services by providing primary care, radiology, women’s health, home-based primary care, telehealth, and other outpatient services within the new, two-story facility. It allowed for the needed decompression at the main Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center (VAMC) campus. The clinic opened in the spring of 2023.

Gainesville-MH (1)

Gainesville Mental Health VA Clinic 40,000 sq. ft.

The Gainesville Mental Health Clinic is a new construction lease that is approximately 40,000 sq. ft. located on the same campus as the new Primary Care Clinic in Gainesville, FL. This new Mental Health Clinic combines services that were previously offered at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center (VAMC), Gainesville 16th St facility, and Gainesville 23rd Ave facility. The new facility was designed to support the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) model allowing for operational efficiencies. It opened in the spring of 2023.

Phoenix 32nd Street VA Clinic 203,000 sq. ft.

The Phoenix Outpatient Clinic is a new 203,000 sq. ft. leased space. The new state-of-the-art clinic is five miles from the Phoenix VA Medical Center, located at 32nd and Van Buren streets in Phoenix, AZ. This expansion project consolidated five smaller clinics into the new location, including two existing stand-alone clinics and three clinics previously operating from within the Phoenix VA Medical Center. Adding this clinic expanded the available care to Veterans in the Phoenix community and greatly decompressed the medical centers. This super clinic opened in July 2022.

OCala front

Ocala VA Clinic 54,600 sq. ft.

The Ocala VA Clinic is a new 54,600 sq. ft. leased space. This single-story facility is located close to Highway 75 in Ocala, FL. This clinic replaced the Ocala community-based outpatient clinic and Ocala West Specialty Clinic leases. The new facility enhances VA outpatient services by closing space and utilization gaps identified in the Strategic Capital Investment Plan (SCIP). It allowed the VA to expand its primary care, mental health, and home-based primary care services and improve continuity of care by integrating optometry and audiology services in a single location. The clinic opened in February 2022.

Terre Haute VA Clinic 37,000 sq. ft.

The Terre Haute Outpatient Clinic is a new 37,000 sq. ft. leased space. The new clinic merged the existing Terre Haute Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and the Terre Haute Outpatient Clinic into one location located at 5061 Bill Farr Drive, Terre Haute, IN, approximately 80 miles from the Indianapolis VA Medical Center. The clinic opened in December 2021.

Brownsburg Clinic Construction (16 of 70) toned

Brownsburg VA Clinic 68,000 sq. ft.

The Brownsburg Outpatient Clinic is a new 68,000 sq. ft. leased space. It replaced the existing Indy West Annex Clinic and is located approximately 15 miles from the Indianapolis VA Medical Center just off Pitt Road in Brownsburg, IN. The clinic opened in October 2021.

ACC 3

Omaha Ambulatory Care Center 157,000 sq. ft.

The Ambulatory Care Center or “ACC” is a 157,000 sq. ft. 3-story outpatient expansion to the Omaha VA Medical Center campus and represents the most significant addition in the facility’s history. The ACC allows NWI to serve up to 400 additional outpatient visits per day and provides space in the existing medical center for future renovations and expansions of other services. The ACC opened in August 2020.

William Beaumont Army Medical Center Replacement Project

To support this 1.13M sq. ft. world-class medical facility featuring a seven-story hospital, two outpatient clinics, and research buildings, we developed the acquisition plan as it relates to equipment planning, acquisition, and receipt. We supported the development of organizational and service-specific logistics operational plans and facilitated the provisioning of the building in coordination with the Department of Logistics. We also provided data center planning and IMIT migration plan coordination efforts. The hospital campus opened in 2021.

Denver VA Medical Center Replacement Project

For the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center project, we were responsible to ensure the IT plan was created and enforced in compliance with the federal and state statutes, rules, and regulations. We also verified that project documentation identified all network requirements for all equipment, and we assisted in coordinating low voltage requirements throughout the project. The replacement medical center opened in August 2018.
