VA Project Director

Kimberly Woolsey is the President as well as VA Project Director for SME Solutions. As the President, Kim oversees all projects to ensure geographically dispersed project managers, technical directors, support teams, and business partners have the resources and support needed to deliver high-quality deliverables on time and within budget in a well-orchestrated, synergistic approach. Prior to joining SMEs Kim spent the last 30 years with General Dynamics Information Technology (including the acquisitions of Sherikon and Anteon) with progressive responsibility in health technology projects under Government contracts.

Her experience leading large teams on multimillion-dollar Initial Outfitting, Transition, and Activation (IOT&A) projects began in 2009 with the DoD's Joint Task Force National Capital Region initial outfitting and transition effort. Kim received her Business Administration degree from Towson University, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Frostburg State University, and has maintained her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification since 2007.

Kim works with integrity and quickly forms strong partnerships with her Government customers and team staff by being approachable and available. Her personable approach has afforded her a solid reputation in the industry and makes her a valuable asset. Outside of her work life, Kim enjoys spending time with her friends and family especially her husband, kids, and two precious pups. She's always been an avid runner and Les Mills group exercise enthusiast but has recently joined a cycling club to spare the knees a bit.
