SME Solutions was awarded the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Initial Outfitting, Transition, and Activation (IOT&A) services contract to support the planning, outfitting, activation, and opening of a new multi-specialty clinic designed to help decompress the Austin VA Clinic by expanding outpatient capacity and addressing space gaps identified through the Strategic Capital Investment Planning (SCIP) process. Under this contract, SME Solutions will provide comprehensive project management, interior design, FF&E and space planning support, Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development, transition planning, acquisition support, procurement package development, activation services, delivery, relocation and installation support, training, turnover, and post-occupancy support. The new facility will expand access to care and introduce additional services, including Primary Care, Mental Health, Radiology, Pathology and Laboratory Services, Prosthetics and Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation Services, Visiting Provider Services, Logistics, OIT, Clinical Management, and other supporting services.
